Hale Library at Kansas State University suffered extensive damage to its structure and contents after an accidental fire on the roof in May of 2018. Hale Library has more than 1.2 million books in its collection, not including other resources. Brian Foote, a member of BELFOR’s national document restoration team, will present a case study on the recovery process and how water and soot affected the collection.
